Top 5 Pickleball YouTube Channels: From Serious to Hilarious

To be the best pickleballer out there, you not only need to play good, but you gotta be on top of the what's what in the Pickleball World. What better way to do that then to have the best suggestions curated for you right here!

There's ton of new pickleball content being uploaded every day, it can be overwhelming to find the right YouTube Channels to watch or Pickleball creators to follow. I personally spend most my day consuming pickleball related content so you don't have to waste time sifting through it to find the best out there.

Here is the top list I have compiled that covers a broad range of the most important topics to give yourself the most comprehensive information in the following sectors:

  • Industry Insight
  • Paddle & Gear information
  • Instructional Tips
  • Unique Content
  • Humor

So here we go...(in no particular order)

👉 King of The Court [Industry Insight]

Jimmy and Tyler take the cake by a clear margin when it comes to getting inside scoop on "Big Pickle" (slang for pickleball industry) as they always seem to have the latest news before anyone else. The duo makes the perfect pair: Jimmy, being the president of the California BLQK BEARS and friends with seemingly everyone in-the-know, he provides a unique and blunt perspective of the intricate movements from behind the scenes, while at the same time giving hilarious hot takes 🌶️; While Tyler, being a pro player, has the "on-court" perspective as one of the top players in the nation. The mix of humor and facts make for the best all around podcast to watch if you can only have one to choose from.

👉 The Pickleball Studio [Paddle & Gear Information]

Chris Olson may hold the unofficial Guinness world record for most paddles owned by an individual. His in depth reviews with his co-host Will Chaing and high quality video production makes for the top channel when it comes to figuring out which paddle is right for you, along with many other great insights and recaps. He travels to a lot of the tournaments and give his thoughts on how the amateur events are ran, and breaks down personal insights on the road to 5.0 Status (for now he remains a 3.5 at best 😉). In addiction to a huge youtube following, he has a very active discord channel with 24/7 chat about gear, paddle updates, and general topics.

👉 That Pickleball Guy [Instructional Tips]

Kyle Koszuta has one of the highest followings with 94k Instagram followers and over 83k YouTube subscribers at the time of writing this, and that is HUGE in the pickleball space. There is a great reason for this, his YouTube videos get straight to the point, the editing makes it easy to drive in his pointers, and overall is extremely well put together (check the video below to see). Helping boost his online presence, Kyle's email list is jam packed with updates and ✅effective tips (I bold this because many creators make off-the-wall suggestions and trick shots that aren't that useful for the average player). Kyle's ability to create content for new players, all the up to 5.0+ is something that many people just can't do.

If you want to watch him play, his team Tempe Tornados play live at the Orchid Pickleball Facility every Tuesday.

👉 Shea Underwood [Unique Content]

Shea is a pickleball influencer/player/creator who makes informative AND interesting content which takes a much different angle to the game. He is constantly creating viral content and unique ideas to entertain his audience, such as: "Challenging pros to game of horse" and "Can you play pickleball with a $1 paddle". So much content out there is repetitive, it's nice to see someone come up with fresh things to make pickleball fun. Shea's editing skills are up there with Kyle Koszuta and his Instagram reels have attracted millions of views. In addition to addictive content, he is constantly creating giveaways to win brand new merchandise from the most popular brands like Selkirk.

👉 Sorry Not Sorry Pickleball [Humor]

Last but not least, Chris Cali is a lesser known YouTube channel on the come up. Most people don't have the time to watch every match and catch the best parts. That's why Chris will lighten the mood with his long form recaps of PPA, MLP, and APP events, highlighting the most epic and funny parts of the matches with hilariously narration. His Instagram page will have shorter form video and memes that are guaranteed to make you laugh 🤣. He says what most people think but can't say, which makes his channel name a perfect fit. Check out some of his videos below!
