My Story

Hey there, I'm Jake, and I've got a story that's far from ordinary. Back in 2016, I stumbled upon tennis, and it was like love at first serve. I couldn't get enough of it, and soon enough, I was notching up wins in local 4.0 tournaments. Tennis became my obsession, and I was hitting the courts five times a week. Life was good, but little did I know that it was about to get even better.

Fast forward to April 2022, and it was my birthday. Imagine my surprise when I unwrapped a pickleball paddle! Until then, I'd never even heard of pickleball, but that paddle sparked something inside me. Within just a couple of months, I'd drawn up a game plan to launch my very own ecommerce company.

You see, I'd been eyeing the world of ecommerce for years, but I was stuck in a boring mortgage job, and it felt like life was on autopilot. Then, in 2022, as interest rates started climbing, my mortgage job vanished into thin air, just two weeks after I'd launched Banger, my pickleball venture. I had a choice to make – get another job or go all-in on pickleball. You probably guessed it – I chose the latter.

I couldn't help but notice a trend in the pickleball world. All these stores were popping up, selling cheap, low-quality stuff with print-on-demand methods and tacky hats. It just didn't sit right with me. So, I decided to take a different route. I scoured the planet for the best apparel samples, ensuring that every product I put out there was top-notch and designed for peak performance.

Today, I'm still flying solo, but I'm grateful for the amazing customers who've believed in Banger. As I look ahead, I'm excited about the journey. My dream is to keep growing and keep expanding our range of products, setting new standards for excellence in the world of pickleball gear.
